Cambodian Investment Board (CIB) is one of the three operational arms of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), dedicated to promoting private investment and fostering the development of special economic zones. In accordance with the Law on Investment of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Royal Decree No. 1223/2564 dated 9 December 2023 on the Organization and Functioning of the CDC, the CIB/CDC functions as the One-Stop Shop responsible for reviewing and approving Qualified Investment Projects (QIPs) in priority sectors, contributing to job creation, industrial diversification and sustainable economic growth. Beyond this core function, the CIB facilitates a series of dialogue platforms, including the Government-Private Sector Forum and bilateral public-private sector dialogues with investors from key partner countries. Detailed roles and responsibilities of the CIB/CDC are stipulated in Article 17 of the Royal Decree No. 1223/2564 dated 9 December 2023 on the Organization and Functioning of the Council for the Development of Cambodia.
